Guru's I finally went PC window shopping, I went & got each stores most expensive computer packages (In asia btw) so guys and gals let me know which package is best, we can also mix & match other hardware just have to pay the price difference....

Option 1: ($780.00)
AMD AM2 Phenom II 64x4 955 (3.2GHz/8MB)
MP-AKGX Extreme GT3 / AS Rock M3A790GXH <- tis was recommended
4GB DDR-3 1333 Ram
Seagate 750GB Sata HD
Nvidia Geforce GTS-250 512MB PCI-E
Internal multicard reader
the rest of the little stuff like case, powersupply, dvd--rw, network card..etc

option 2 should do the job. grab windows 7 pro instead of vista

Option 2 is a great Combo and good price for the performance you will get from the rig.

well these are packages and they aint the best off the shelve...
should i upgrade any of the parts?
extra ram... better graphics card... cpu...
how are the blu ray-r? should i get one or stick with the package?

im probably going to buy a CORE i7, very pricey but i just have to get the best of the best haha A few games lag alittle on my current computer.

Duo Core 2 3.3ghz with 9800 GTX

Of course games lag on a single 9800gtx...

That core 2 of yours will happily run up to 4ghz easily on air cooling too.

I know...I was talking about his current core 2 running @ 3.3

I'd hold off on the i7 for 6-12 months until the prices drop.

he should probably get an i5 really. i7 offers no improvement in performance for most things.
