After just reading your latest dyno charts I don't think new tyres in the wet are going to be much help to you

I still reckon it great your getting out there Tino! See you Saturday.

Just a quick question, is this thread heading for some sort of record, ie started in 2007 and still going. Also closing in on 3000 replies.

Cheers Gav i wish i never started as theres always something i want to do next... grrrr

So had the car on the hoist to mount a mini shield against the water vapour when i go on the track on Saturday (thanks dougie). I think it will protect against the rain well. The back of it is still open so there should be plenty of air getting to it.

Im getting the car tuned on E85 on friday and wondering if i should remove the cover or leave it on? Will the cover affect the power??

I also took a pic of the new oil sump off the turbo.

Looking good Tino. Has the new mini-sump © stopped the oil pooling/smoking issue?

Yup its working a treat matty. We knew that this was probaly the solution but wanted to avoid/ had no time in the mad rush for motorvation.

Its a neat addition as when the oil enters the sump from the turbo its hot as expected but by the time it gets to the other side its much cooler, have air rushing under it when driving and this acts as an additional oil cooler
