Volk TE37s or Enkei RCT4s again....

Does anyone know if TE37s can be got in 18x 8.5/9 +22?? (as i may be able to scrape them under the gaurds with a smaller width i.e 8.5") and have the GTR face??

The other option go back to my Enkeis but in a slightly wider wheel and more aggressive offset +30 instead of +35 previous i.e 18x8.5 +30

I picked up myself some seconhand Rcomps

dunlop direzzas R compound 245x18 from MMS which have alot of tread 70-80% which i want to try out...
They dont make 18x8.5 +22. For 18x8.5 +30 +40 and +50. Time for wide body Tino to fit 18x9.5, you know you want it

Im spewing they make them in a +45, but only in 114.3.

114.3 hubs have different bolt spacing and a wider 'ear' that the bracket bolts on to, compared to 100 hubs.

Just get a pair of front lower brackets to suit 05 onwards coilovers. Ohlins should make them, buy them and fit them up..you'd be silly to machine your hubs down to suit the current brackets, and cutting and rewelding your existing brackets to suit is more trouble than its worth.

Should be piece of piss to make a new bracket to bolt onto the coilover. problem solverd..

Ill get LF for the job of this i think../

The benefit of kind of eliminating pad knock with the bigger brake rotors and newer hubs was the main reason for the swap over..

Brackets aren't expensive Tino. Ohlins will have them available, just specify the ones for 05 onwards STi and they'll work.

Alternatively, find out the diameter and thread pitch of the strut. Depending what it is, I could even supply you some HSD ones if they fit.. Basically a threaded tube with 2 plates welded on, and abs sensor and brake line mounts. Budget 100ish for those, as opposed to LFs hourly rate to do the job.

^^^^
assuming thats the same sort of coilover that you have Tino that be the best option to go for! I know the GC8 Ohlins have fixed brackets.

The thread seems to look the same as with Joes HSD.. so do it!!
