Spose a newb question, but if it as a daily driver, if you stayed out of boost or just didnt push the engine as hard as you would normally, would you really need to rebuild it every 15 thou?

2.17 - did you forget to connect the front shafts?
Awesome mph though, shows that it is making big power.

Thanks guys....
i didnt update here as pwrx was down for the whole night and morning for some wierd reason.. As i said this was a spare of the moment thing, as the car was back on the road late yest arvo. The cosworth inlet cam broke again on the other side this time. The cams are getting sent to cosworth for analysis. But there was no damage done at all which is the main thing at this stage.. This car is very very hard to get off the line, i struggled immensely so gave sean a go. And he too found it very hard to drive. To get a 10 everything needs to be perfect from the launch to the shift. But alteast the TS speed says what the car is really capable of. Reduce the 60' and get the shifts right may pick up another 3-4 mph. 136-138 mph is serious speed in my book. As for the issues, we found that the AVCS cam sensors were breaking and causing the cam to break in half. Both cams are now being sent to cosworth for analysis. And as for a daily driver, yes it is. Im a very soft driver as sean puts it. So if i dont push it hard all the time then it should last a fair while before getting refreshed. Next stage will be sorting out the dampning on the ohlins, tyre pressures and looking at getting launch control function enabled. I really think that this will help build enough boost to get off more cleanly. I may try and get around to it in the next few weeks... heres the slip:

put the factory suspension in, take out the sway bars and try fit some 16's on it and lower the tyre pressure.
good luck, the mph is there.

jme 16s wont fit on the brembos.. hahah I might try and borrow someones sti rims and suspension Any offers.. hahah I think that with a good launch theres a 136 mph in it and a mid 10. With an aswome launch i.e 1.6 and lower I can see a low 10..

As for rims - find the smallest you can to clear the brakes.
