Tino, go smaller and aim for efficiency and response. You already have a big huffer, get it rebuilt when funds allow and have two options versus reinventing what you essentially already have. Food for thought.

Jme good suggestion but not really a fan of rebuilding turbos they just don't feel the same I think. A smaller turbo will increase down low but I'm happy with a 4500-8200 powerband with the 40R.

Tino listen to JME. Get a smaller turbo and then hit wanners. You know you cant drive anyway so why hit the wall at the end of the straight harder?

Same as a rebuilt engine??

As with anything mate, done properly/professionally there's no issues. That's what i would do, but you're the one who has to drive it.
