you'll be flowing a lot more air at 1.8 bar obviously, which imo points again to a restriction somewhere.

its a rubber joiner not silcone joiner so its not tested for running boost...

Tino lives down the road from me and offered me a lap (he saw my post where i said i'd never been in a fast car )

It definitely seems like the manifold is creating some back pressure. I don't see any other reason why the joiner would shoot off. Lucky i brought some tools with me, aye?! I'm also assuming that joiner was the reason why the intercooler-to-manifold pipe was hitting the fan?

But christ, when it hits boost, hold on. I actually pulled the handle off in his car.

Better throw some loctite on the spoiler bolts also while you're fixing the handle

what on u on about sean??

Joe i will firstly see if the joiner improves things, then secondly look at teh standard manifold to see if the manifold is restricting things..

Also alot of ppl are suggesting that the cams may be out by a click or so??

And they would know seeing how your a mechanic and all Tino and can go over all details of how the motor was put together.

Forums are full of assumptions. Stop getting your information from them and you would be much happier with your car.

Leave it to ASG, Tino. You're gonna go nuts looking for everyone's opinion.

First thing I'd be pissing off is that manifold. It is the only unproven item in your package.

There is a reason manufacturers spend millions on R&D. Somethings a backyarder with a few trumpets, aluminium sheet metal and a welder can't emulate.
