No more skidz chad, i have r comps on now and dont want to destroy my clutch again like i did from the last go as it was a 600 dolla excersise +labour to machine it all up And also having the car off the road for a month...

But will be going all out on the short track to test the brakes and the limit of the R comps

you know that R comps have less grip than road tyres when they are cold don't you.

Haha yes mate I know that. Even tested it out

Got the car aligned today fronts are not bad 3.2 toe neutral 0. Rear was set to clear the gaurds so they were 3.2 also with neutral toe 0.

I'll see how this goes but I think too much camber in the rear, may try drop it to 2.5 and hopefully it still clears the guards.

rcomps have nothing to do with your clutch needing replacing

hmmm well it was bitter sweet today at the tunning track day. Sweet that i got the car back bad that it needs to go back...

I could feel the right rear slightly rubbing on the way to the track so i knew the end was near once i got onto the track and suspicions were right, big cloud of smoke every time i tried to corner hard. Also mental note Rcomps have no grip when cold, i pushed it ever so slightly on the first corner (mels Dad has pics) and went arse around.

So this leaves two options, raise up the suspension a little to stop the rubber or cut the gaurds and put the 05sti flares which will allow the rear to have less negtive camber as you can see from the pics i think its too much.

Second issue is clutch is slipping on anything around 90% throttle in most gears. I took it too the clutch place and it may have something to do with the hydrolic bearing, so back to Dougs tom to get looked at...

Tino, pull that clutch out before you ruin it and sell it as a rebuilt unit.

Then put an Exedy Hyper Carbon triple in it.. problem solved.
