Smart man yeh was talking to dougy about this today about the arms and we thought that the arms for the GD might actually be teh stock length and oonly get longer to start with.. So was thinking about getting differnt arms to suit..

but that could work, even though id want to get lateral arms in any case for the better end links..

Well I have the GD wrx arms on mine of course which are wider, i imagine the simple act of plopping on some stock GC wrx arms would be quite simple and tell you pretty quickly what the go is

The rim has gotta fill the 'guards, no good having a wide arch if the tyres are inside. A bit of rub is a good thing!
Maybe GG rear arms would be somewhere between GC and GD? does anyone know the respective lengths?

I'm lead to believe the GC8/GF8 rears are identical to the GGA, its only the GDA/B that got the wider track at least up until my05.

GG's don't have a rear sway bar, so no mounts for the links.

Now been speaking to MSI in the states and he thinks that moving the hubs in will actually cause the axles to bind??

Any thoughts?

Tino

I have run GC rear control arms and GD R180 rear drive shafts before with no issues.

How far are you moving them in?

The axles do have a bit of room to move in the CV joints, but of course if you're talking multiple cm's, then they probably will.
