Exclamation

Lots of months(ok shitloads) have passed (knew it would take ages but not this long) and have had quite a few teething problems,as ive expected to get,as you never get a clean run with a build as ive found out many a time with previous cars, had the first 2 major dyno runs this week with the car making (1st run) 366kw atw and second run it made 371kw atw (about 497 hp atw). this is on a roller dyno, through an auto box with 20 inch rims on,on c16 @ 30psi.boost kicks in @ 4000rpm - 6900rpm with the limiter set at 8000.Have got a 100hp shot of nitros in there too but only set up for launching. The next and final dyno run will be on monday and will be with 17 inch rims on @ 33 psi and should top the magical 400kw atw mark (they tried in RWD mode on the dyno with heaps of strapping and got nothing but wheelspin so couldnt get a reading lol-thats means good for burnouts!).Will put it on a hub dyno when its back to see what the difference is. Have had the motor specially build to handle 35psi so i want to keep it under that number. I thought about going with a 1000hp turbo but decided to go with a 800hp one so i can drive it on the road,a hell of a lot easier than the bigger turbo anyway!! The main thing is that im happy with the results and cantwait to get it back very soon to put it all back together (interior) and get it down to the motorplex. The rigolis should be taking it to the strip on Wednesday if there isnt any dramas before hand to give it a run and make sure everythings running right etc... until then...
