it seems that there are a few people around asking similar questions about the exact same engine code and no-one seems to know anything about them...surabu dealer??? maybe they will have some more info about it

It would have to be a personal import from the UK, which would have a different compliance plate. You can't just import Subaru's from around the world since they are sold here...

GC8 = wrx sedan

G = Sept.99-Aug.2000 build

RB5's are a U.K. Prodrive model....You can only wish to own one as none are in AUS!
