on no level can you justify this.

import monster has three sets of S203 seats (similar to the 204's minus the dark leather side bolsters read wear patches) even one set comes with the rear seat so just a matter of retrimming your door trims and fitting a black carpert from a spec c and for about <6 grand you have the update interior.

you just missed out on a 06 spec c from jws which was going for about 25 grand. that would of been a great starting platform for a ground up build as it had everything and the mechanical parts had but 16.000kms young. check with them but im fairly sure most of the parted out stuff is still there, i even managed to pick up the TMIC from it. you would consider something like this if your version 5 sti was getting tired or your adm 02 bugeye sti had seen better days but you do the whole conversion and not just parts bitsa. if jws has a hard nuff time selling bits and pieces from that spec c, surely, what chance have you got?

your car is so far gone STi guise that its not funny, so why not channel that money and energy into something that will complement the build and not ground it when the time comes to take it to the next level?

if you want seats, surely can can't go past what good quality competition seats. my pick would be these,

http://www.racetech.co.nz/products.p...s/RT9129HR.htm

just buy the one, i know it looks funny just having one raceseat but unless you cage it and about to do serious track work why get the second one for your navigator? see how it goes and really think hard about this. if you had a plane jane 04 sti then it would be a no brainer and be one hell of a conversion/update but ask why? for seats, for a gearbox? you can do both without the heartache and the cost burden.

2.2 cents inc gst

Thats why i put this thread up ramon. To see if there was interest to do something like this. As i said i was hoping that people would front up for shares in the purchase for what they want. That way there is no exhorbadant pricing on parts.

I would not buy the car and then hope people would buy parts because i know in reality i would be stuck with alot of it... The cost would not justify the means in this respect...

As for the seat. I really like the seat not just because its got sti in it, but its a type of seat ive been looking for. Its super supportive for any track days etc.. I want two as it looks out of place just being the one seat.

Lastly, the seat you have posted would mean i couldnt use the car all the time as there is no side vision. The other seat i would be interested in would be the prodrive seat...

This is only thoughts as its alot of money for seats which could be spent elsewhere such as a plated rear diff etc... But can only have dreams etc..

A whole car for just the seats!?

buy some Bride GIAS or something and be done with it.

People voicing interest versus fronting up cash....unfortunately two different scenarios.

Im with Tode, some Bride Gias or the prodrive/bride seats would be the pick.

Might need some scotchguard to fend off the soul glo So maybe stick with leather

Maybe i am going a little bit over the top... but i suppose i have done that throughout the build...

Maybe i need some time away from forums and the internet... hahahaha

My sti seats are fine i suppose just wanted a little bit more snuggness as im only a feather weight...

im going through the same school of thought, when it comes to the seats that is, not buying a whole car just for the aircon vents! i think i will just bite the bullet and do something that i will be happy with, likewise goes for you. if you want the SP-X CL100's (yes that's the model number for the 204 seats, so start googling!) then buy them, clear and simple....never compromise!

yEh I haven't found just that model recaro. I might do some more searching. Nismo also use this seat in the GTR.

What are the pricing for those recaros in any case?
