I sure have, My partner left my key in the fridge with my lunch so I wouldn't forget to take my lunch and it took me 10min before I could unlock my car to get in.

I wasn't going to open the door with the key manually as the alarm would have woken the street up.

mine was faulty and had it replaced by $ubaru last Summer. No issues since.

Sti is parked at home untill I can't get my Brant fixed( hopefully) this weekend, takes 2-3 mins to start in hot weather.
