Default Brant + summer

ok guys looks like were going to have a scortcher of a summer this year and was wondering if us brant keypad users are going to experince any problems???

this is my first summer driving the rex as i was away last summer so just keen on a heads up of the possible things the heat could do to the brant...

Neither have I.. because I got rid of my Brant alarm and run an Autowatch, integrated with the Brant keypad

hopefully ill be following in our footsteps impresive... read quite a bit of negative stuff about the brants... specially in high heat

my bug lasted last summer just fine
brant is only a issue if the control box shits it self (can happen) or the battery goes flat
otherwise its not a bad system can be a little quirky.... *waiting for a response to that statement* :P

hahahah yeah well a mate of mine has has a problem since its started to get hotter but i dono if ill get flamed for posting up what the problem is... only coz its on a public forum

AUTOWATCH FTW, it's about $500ish with anti car jacking features and can be bought and installed by our resident guru Macey aka Bumpstop at Westside Sound and Image in Cannington.

Brant + Summer = Epic car issues. It's hit and miss. You may have issues, you may not .. depends how old and how well your existing Brant module has faired over the years ..

thats exactly what ive been hearing... but hope all goes well... maybe time for a visit to westside, only time will tell
