This is what you do on Wednesday...

1. Find a lawyer for an obligation free quote and get their business card.

2. Just go into SGIO branch and cancel all your policy (after you make a new one from RAC/HBF...etc) and hand the branch manager the lawyers business card, and juz be frank "talk to my lawyer from now on"

they are very quick to back flip if they dont...

3. Go back to your lawyer and if you dont have money upfront its ok, just tell them to take their cut from the case win all you want is the car fixed.

If you cancel the policy their obligation ceases.

Well I'd say it must have got a few streets away at least...(maybe his mum pushed it round the block?)

5 bucks says he got his mum to steal his own car

Tip of the day:
If you are going to stage a car theft, don't advertise the fact that your car was "stolen" on forums.

I believe it's insurance fraud if thats the case, not taken lightly either. But gotta give him the benefiet of the doubt, really. Where the keys stolen? If not, i'd say GG.

even if his car was stolen, he had done the head gasket before the 5/4/11 and he claims it was stolen 2 saturdays before his OP, which makes it the 9/4/11.

just seems dodge to me

He could be telling the truth, but the insurance company shouldnt have to fork out for the blown head gasket

Just seem a little too coincidental.......Stolen 4 days after doing a H/G.

Who would target an RS in the first place?

Why would anyone on a 'cruise' stop to steal your $6K car?
How did they break the steering lock? I'd speculate that your (mums) claim has been rejected because the steering lock aint broke!

Why would you even associate a car cruise with the 'theft' of your car FFS??

What car cruises come into floreat/wembley?.....A Part from the Perth Street bike Boys who do, no-one else does!

Probably heard me out late tuning my car on my floreat/city beach/ wembley route....
