I have 2 boost settings, 0.9 and 1.2 bar. 1.2 bar is ample for a td05 even with the supporting mods and tune.

Factory boost on a bugeye is .87bar or 12.6psi. Boost cut is at 15.8psi. This was the lowest factory target boost of any WRX till the '08 came out, which has a target boost of .78bar or 11.3psi.
You can run whatever you want, with mods to suit.
I'm running 1.5bar in my bugeye all day, everyday, and its done 230000k's

Edit: WHat Rossco said, if you don't know what your doing, DON'T TOUCH IT, take it to a workshop to safely adjust for you

As said leave it alone if you are worried and then take it to a qualified workshop like All Star Garage or Maximum Motorsport who both are experienced with Subaru tuning and have chat to them about an exhaust + re-tune (bread and butter mod for any wrx these days).

Start budgeting $10k for a new motor to be put in if you are docking around with a boost tee like that b
