Will post pics up ASAP tomorrow
Keen to get out on the gc8 cruise and meet some of the Perth-wrx crew!

I am really happy with it so far- I've had a cam'd vx ss with head work etc, but this is a different kind of fast. Good fun

I am 99% sure my engine is fine as the STechnic guys have fully serviced it, tuned it up(& would of noticed and told me if anything was wrong with it) etc but there is a noise, which I am hoping is just the signature horizontally opposed-dak dak but this being my first Subaru i just can't be 100% certain. It's different to the exhaust note, but appears to be in time with the pistons firing(almost like a very subtle knock noise). I'll also take a video tomorrow at idle and give it a bit of a rev so you guys migh be able to tell me of its normal etc

You'll find the exhaust will quieten down in a couple of weeks when it gets a good lining of carbon, usually sound deeper.

Great going.

Piccy goodness...

STi Instrument cluster

Front L/R

Rear L with showing off my cool cannon

Apologies for shitty iphone-spec images, but you get the idea of what it's looking like at the moment.
I'll get some more of engine bay etc as I clean it up and ad some things (strut bracing etc)

But basically so far:
Full STi Driveline conversion (including ecu)
STi Front brake's & wrx rear disc set-up (no abs, saving weight)
v6 STi struts & springs
STi Dash
STi Short Shift kit
'09 betty WRX rims
Alloy GC8 STi bonnet
Cusco front strut brace

*all STi bling came form a '97 ver3 v-limited (except struts)

REMOVAL OF FOLLOWING:
Rank-ass Carbon wrap on boot
decals from doors
shitty subwoofer & amp setup (that was at least 20kg)

Plans for future:
STi front lip
STi or club spec wing
Cusco rear strut brace
Cusco H-brace
Cusco Brake stopper
closed-door respray (incl. colour coding door handles & side skirts)
I/C water spray
Walboro fuel pump
[RX STI] plates?

I'm 100% sure I have missed various details, but i'll ad them as I remember them/ think of new things to do.

OPINIONS SO FAR?

Cheers
Josh
