I thought that was a pretty fair question, not that hard to answer if your were the type of person who comments in order to give ppl information rather than pointless remarks

I'd suggest that the length of the piece of string would be dependent on the corner, vehicle speed, and what gear you were in (or should be in).

Exactly.

Off the line - are you talking about a standing start at wanners (obviously not, so lets assume traffic lights)

What corners are you heading into, what speed, what gear?

Why is that even a concern in Suburban Perth?

Just because you dont like my reply doesnt mean there isnt a point to it.

I find driving at wanneroo, ( stock 207 with vf34) that its pretty well matched on getting you out of corners without dropping to far out of the powerband. If anything the vf feels restricted at 6700-7000 rpm, but this could also be cause of the stock down pipe/up pipe headers.

On the street, it rarely matters because 50km/h in 1st is a little to wild for me.

Unless you swapped it out, you have a VF35, also why it is more restricted at higher rpm.

What model car does the OP have?

A VF48 won't be an easy fit on an 08+ wrx
a VF52 won't be an easy fit on Daves bug. The outlets are different.

op needs to forget about the TD04, get the latest model VF he can from a WRX/STi depending on the MY of his car, and enjoy life.

Also I started reading that article linked then stopped when I realised it was all wank because it was an American website, discussing USDM cars and referring to "three of the top Subaru tuners in the world" and all 3 magically being US tuning shops. Wank.

There is no "magical" turbo that will kill an EJ25x
There is also no "Magical" boost limit that will explode a WRX. When i first joined here it was ludicrous to think about more than 1.2bar as your car would instantly explode. I've seen a stock EJ207 take 3+ bar of boost.

Its all in the tune baby.
