Dan...This white subaru in the video with LC seems very slow...I can launch faster than this without LC... is that what LC will launch like? (Slow!)

I'm assuming the video I posted is LC too...

Also I'm guessing how LC would work is once its revving at the LC rev then you release the clutch and it starts moving the car...

And LC would be engaged all the time so what happens if I stop at a light, don't rev up to engage LC, but decide to just balance release the clutch while gradually flooring the pedal (like you would now if you want to punch it and not destroy your clutch)...Does it lock at the LC rev or it drives normally like it does now?

As in only when Im fully stopped and push revs up that the LC engages, so when Im fully stopped and car starts rolling with full accelleration ECU knows not to lock it at LC revs.

Just trying to find out so I know if I should have it on mine or not :-)

I'll probably end up having it anyway, I'm assuming to discable it is just a quick run past verso, plug in EBD and 2 mins later LC is disabled, shouldn't require tuning to disable/enable LC Im guessing.

that guys attempt at launch was balls, my understanding of launch control is that you engage the clutch put the happy pedal to the floor the ecu will hold it at lc rev and you launch the car as you would normally it just holds the revs at a constant level for you. Further you can drive like you would normally unless you have youre foot to the floor at the lights

I honestly didn't watch the full video, I have changed it to reflect a better use of LC.

Only when you are under a designated speed it will activate. Other things like: Clutch in, In gear, etc are determined by the ECU Software.

Mine operates in neutral or in gear, with or with out the clutch depressed as long as I am under 5MPH (~8KMH)
