You got it I have changed my original video to a WRX using LC and actually going somewhere. See the end where he gets 0-60 in ~4 seconds.


You don't need to have it 100% to the floor. Even partial throttle (~70%) it will make boost and make it easier to easy the clutch out without cooking it. Obviously my car being diabled (FWD) I only use partial throttle

I will enable mine and try it out..that sti in my video sounds sick and is properly launched using LC....good driver

If that WRX is doing 4secs an STi would do better...LC for sure ;-)

Launching without a rev limiter/LC is not the hardest thing to do in the world. Go to a skid pan or 2, or to the drags or wherever the hell you want and give it a crack. It's not rocket science, and yes it is fun. And yes I have the original 5 speed and done it a billion times and nothing has broken yet.

If you cannot do it without LC, then the chances of you knowing how to pedal a car (even with LC) fast down the drags or around a track or whatever are slim to none, and you will be getting it done purely for wank factor.

And yes it can be done via Verso, I know a few cars that have had it enabled.

And yes, I like to say "and yes" a lot.

ps: Because I didn't say 'touch wood' my 5 speed will probably implode on itself when I start my car this arvo....
