ok its not DCCD knocking, I know what that is and its not that....it's the whole car jerking due to this, like its skipping and shakes the whole body of the car front to back more like bouncing the suspension

With stock struts in my 05 I never got any DCCD knocking in auto. Even in lock the knocking is at the centre diff not individual wheels

Get it checked out

They are usually pretty good with helping people out. I have rocked up on occassion and ask politely for a moment of someones time to diagnose something on my old rex with out problems.

Doug/STechnic if you're browsing this forum tonight --- I'll pop down tomorrow morning around 8.30ish for some help diagnosing if I have an issue or not :-) and then book another day for fixing if need be.

I think you will find he be flat out knee deep in gearboxes. Don't have dccd in my bug but do have a 2 way plated rear diff and it bangs and clunks on full lock both going forward and reverse.

No problem. Tomorrow (Wednesday) will be better than later in the week as I'm getting knee surgery on Thursday and might be out of action for a few days.

Munya its not the clunking or banging....its a suspension type shake, it's throwing me back n forth...I know what the diff noise and clunks are like...that's something making the whole car rock back n forth on that wheel, like you're pushing down and up on the suspension or someone is quickly tapping/releasing the brake pad on that wheel..

does no one read whole threads anymore
