sooo i gave kato my STI pedal set, and I was inpired by a pedal box i saw recently. can't afford the pedal box so do the next best thing

skateboard grip-tape. I did the easiest bit first, took the dead pedal out and did it out of the car for the first one.



gave it a good sanding and then cleaned it up stuck a roughly cut piece on and then trimmed around the edges with a raz0r



then i did the rest in the car. little rough but really its only my feet that will be seeing them



I'd also take the main hoop of my roll cage to Steve Maitland last week, had him weld in a second diagonal bar. I've since got it hom, sanded it back and hit it with a few cans of matt black. Now to get it back into the car without scratching the shit out of it!

Great idea with pedals mate... should work really nice with some decent race boots etc.

I was up at race torque the other day and apparently ledgers GC8 weighs in the region of 1030.

Dont know how much fuel that includes though.
