Received the insurance renewal papers last week for the (STI), the premium jumped from $1300ish to $1750. A $450 jump and we have had no accidents or claims, went down to the insurer to check out why, seems to be someone had changed the premium twice for no reason from about $1500 to $1750. By the end they were able to get it back to $1420.

So if anyone ever gets a fair jump in their premium it pays to get it checked out, might save you a few coins.

i finally got round to swapping my insurance over today.. i was paying $150 a month with allianze, but seeing as i am installing a VF34 turbo, 550cc Injectors, TBE & Apexi filter i thought it was time to let them know about the mods.. Allianze point blank refused to insure me so i gave JustCar a shout; they are insuring me with all mods declared and fully comp at $120 a month so all happy here.
