i paid 3.3k/year for an 05 when i was on my p's.

I remember how much it pissed me off when the money came out of my account every month. So not worth it although its nice having a full NCB at 22

Please don't EVER drive near me on a cruise.

P.s Do you realize that if you hit & write off another vehicle your financial life will be over?

I know of a guy who just turned 18 and he is going through this process right now.

A truck t-boned him after he didn't pay attention on what was going on and wrote of his 5k car, now he has another 20k bill to pay from damage done to the truck.

All of which could have been avoided if he had just paid insurance, I'm pretty sure the $400 p/a 3rd party would have covered that 20k bill he got.

But that's why i'm hoping to sell it after I fix it up a bit and in the mean time try really hard not to do anything stupid!

Just get third party? It's cheap and covers the other persons car when you hit them.

I don't care if you end up in a financial mess with the repair of your car, but you won't like being taken to court and having a new asshole inserted if you hit my car.

when you get your p's you shouldnt have a fast car its too expensive plus you get singled out by the cops every time, best thing i did was buy a 94 toyota camry, because of this i havnt had any crashes because the car was slow. best thing is after 3-4 years with sgio i now have a 55% no claim bonus built up which means as a 21 year old when i bought a wrx 3 months ago my insurance is only $1400/year for the wrx.

My understanding is that if its under finance it will need full comp cover and part of the deal. Take a look at the policy.
