Either way, to be perfectly honest, STi or not at the end of the day it's one amazing machine and I'm overly happy with it.

we don't doubt you are... but we are just trying to clear up that your car is NOT an STI, it is a WRX with some cosmetic 'goodies' (use that term lightly, leather and woodgrain in a performance car - smart move Subaru) and that in no way makes it anywhere near an STI.

As long as your happy it doesn't matter what we say!!
But, it's a good idea for you to do some research and find out exactly what car you have! Maybe take it to a specialist

Just to reiterate on what I said before. I'm new to the whole wrx scene because I wanted a serious upgrade from my last car. I'm only going off what paperwork I have at hand. I could very well be wrong and if I come across like I'm having a go, I don't mean to. I understand you lot know your shit better than me so yeah.

Nothing on either the rego papers nor anything on the build plates will state "STI", it's all in the vin number - it should be jf1gc8kdgyg------ for version 6 Sti.

Yep owned this car in 2008-2009.

its a limtied edtion my00 model with an EJ207, fitted and tuned by all star garage. Had a power fc when i owned it. Upgraded turbo, i forgot what it had now. I nearly bought it back last year when the guy i sold it to had it on sale here.

i bought it off an antilag member as well. Car was soo much fun. im sure your going to enjoy this car alot.
