Basically, to get the mix spot on, you're best buying the 19L drums (a 20L drum filled to exactly 19L by the manufacturer), at $3.50 per litre. Then put exactly 19 litres of u98 into another drum and pour both into the tank.

In a 205L drum its $2.50 litre.. then you need to work out a way of getting identical quantities of each fuel into the tank.

Maybe I'm just being pedantic, but I don't believe there is a good way of measuring exacting quantities short of eyeballing a fill line on a jerry can. I wouldn't trust my motor to that!

If you can find an easy and accurate method, then it will work out. Either way, mixing is a pain... Straight e85 pumped in via drum pump ftw

*Ethanol.

It's settled.
After dicussions with present and ex members of the forum that have or are running Ethanol, I've decided it's all or nothing.
I've sourced billet fuel rails to run top feed injectors and 1000cc injectors to suit.
I've done some more research, and it seems that the need to change all fuel lines to teflon braid or equivalent and run massive fuel pumps is a falacy.
I've been in discussion with people that have been running 100% E85 for years now on standard lines to no detriment.
It appears the confusion is due to the fact that people ignore or don't realise that E85 is already blended (15%) with gasoline, and that 15% makes all the difference. CSR/sucrogen E85 already has all the additives to stop corrosion

I will however beef up my pump setup for insurance.

Happy times ahead.
