Default brant + battery swap

I swapped the battery on the my00 and now the brand pad shows a 1 instead of a 0, seems to start just fine but the radiator is out now so i cant do much testing however anyone know what this means?

battery was only off the car for 15 seconds or so.

start up/switch off 9 or 10 times and it'll be time for skids again

I switched it on and off 9 times and it seems to be back to normal but the car wont start anyway.... does this mean its forgotten the code? because it seems to disarm like normal however I don't hear the fuel pump pressurising any more. maybe the fuel pump has died? It did start for about 3 seconds then promptly died and wouldn't start again.

Take it to subaru.

For future reference, best way to swap the battery is...
1. Clip "spare" battery in parallel across your current battery.
2. Disconnect current battery. Spare battery will keep car (brant) powered.
3. Hook up new battery, secure in car.
4. Disconnect spare.

That way the car never actually loses power and the brant will never complain.
This is of course assuming you have not killed the battery already or had it go
flat somewhere. Always best to replace it when starting get a bit laboured.

I had RAC do a battery change over for me.

They put a small battery pack into the cig lighter and turned the key to accessories, then changed over the main battery. Worked fine.
