Kymbo they got plenty of grip and are good for the odd pan/track day and street noise is fine, I prob won't get them again as I want to try some Direzza Star Specs or R888's but they're a good tyre for the price and wear well.

Going on the price of around low $200 for 235/40/18 is say that price of $300 you got is fairly good.
Where do you find prices like that? I called 4 shops this week looking for ku36's in 245/40/18, and the best price I got was $365 a tyre :/

Running 235/40/18 Yokohama A-drives from John @ wheels world. Great tyre quiet on road and have about 50% tread after 18000klms. Good value

I had A drives at one stage (215/45/R17) they were comfortable and quiet, but I found them lacking in the wet.

Personally I think that the section on Tire rack where you can compare all the different tires etc with comprehensive ratings is pretty good. It enables you to select a tire that may be better in the wet or one that is good ion the corners.

It just seems that some people get the 36's purely because other people do and sound like they don't do any of their own research. My 2c.

Turns out the tyres that were on the car before are Potenza RE001 Adrenalines.

Im looking at new tyres now. Going to get the RE002 When they are available.
