Also, for those with Brembo that don't do track work, I've just posted this up in our workshop section:
Quote:
*** End of Financial Year Special on Brembo HPX Pads! ***

Until the end of June 30, having a half rear rears deal on QFM HPX pads to suit EVO/STi Brembos. List price per set of QFM HPX pad to suit Brembo (Bendix Ultimate equivalent, minus the dust and rotor wear), is $149 per axle set. Our regular sale price is $110 per axle set, and we're half pricing that price!

Front and rear HPX to suit Brembo, $177.50 delivered! List price $298 plus delivery, that's a saving of $133 off list price!

If you're only after one axle set, will do free shipping, so either front or rear for $110 delivered.

A1RM are still on back order, but if you don't do track work, and are after a high performance low dust and rotor wear pad, then the HPX is perfect. For more information checkout www.qfmperformance.com, or give us a call 1300 884 836.

Regards,
Greg

In HPX (Bendix Ultimate equiv.) $79 per axle set. In A1RM (Ferodo DS2500 or Bendix SRT equiv.) $119 per axle set.

Unfortunately though I think we've sold the last available set yesterday, and am waiting on QFM to send an order through...

i would not recommend DS2500's for street use, they are a junk pad and take way to long to warm up on initial bite.

there are much better on the market, start with DS2000's or goto something with a more aggresive cold bite if you want improved brakes.

i take it that you have never driven on bendix srt pads. I was given a few sets for testing and caught the first set on fire big time after about 8 stops from 100. these pads were properly bedded in aswell :O bendix pads are absolute garbage for performance driving.

I think it is rude to put them in the same class as ferodo ds2500. they might be the same quality as a set of ferodo targets, dispite bendix's claims.

No, you're absolutely right. I've never personally driven on the SRT's. Only going off their claim of being a street/track pad, and their technical specs released by Bendix.

I'm well aware of the fact that FMP Group (Bendix) are too worried about meeting OEM contracts, than making decent aftermarket pads, I didn't mean to offend! Bendix aside, the A1RM is easily a match for the Ferodo 2500 level of performance pad, regardless of the actual head to head performances.

Hey tom don't forget your the hardest latest braking dude I've ever been in a car with.... if someone was going to torch a set of brakes it would be you...
Not havin a dig, but irf it mentions street anywhere in the name of a pad or other item for a car, it has no place being hammered on a race track especially Barbegallo.

Thanks Tuna,

nah im after the ferodo 2000s. (or equivalent) it would be silly buying track pads considering i drive 98% on the street.

cheers, Steve.

Thats cool, no offense taken i just dont beleive that the bendix pads deserve any track or race in their name.
