Default New Brakes

Guys,

i need to replace my front brakes since the old ones are worn out.
I drive a 99 wrx..

Ultimately i would like to go for DBA 4000's, ferodo 2500 pads, and a set of STI brake lines all around, and decent quality dot 4 fluid.

Wheres the cheapest place to purchase these?

also, has anyone heard of 'reliance' brakes?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SLOTTED-DISC-...3A1%7C294%3A50

i know brakes arent the best thing to skimp on, but would like a good deal.

cheers, Steve.

I got my ds2500 from Perth Brake part for $325 per pair for brembos, should be cheaper for wrx 4pots
same with the sloted rotors got qutoed $300 each for the brembos also from perth brake parts, but it didnt require replacing yet.

If you can wait a few working days its cheaper interstate or rexnet vendors...

I got DBA4000 from tuspeed for $220 each.

Look on the forum for GSL Rallysport and the QFM brake pads. I use their A1RM trackday pads and can't fault them for daily driving or track use....they are something like $120 per axle set.

I cant get DBA 4000's for around $175 each, But they only make them for the fronts on the GC8's, so for standard slotters, for the rears i can get them for around $165.

i can get the pads for you cheap aswell.

Let me know if you want me too hook you up and fit them.

might wanna check out www.ebcbrakesdirect.com .. UK based EBC dealer.. ALOT cheaper than any locally sourced EBC distributor.. Quite fast on delivery as well from what i've heard from friends who have bought off them.

Couple some EBC yellows/Reds with some DBA slotted rotors.. should be good for some fun at the track or street..

Get Yellows for regular track work (Requires Warm Up)...Reds for street/track.. (Good Cold Bite)

Just an alternative to what you're looking for.. =)

Troy from PSR (Check Rexnet or prospeedracing.com.au) has the Dixcel rotors going cheap - Check the specials page...

I just picked mine up for 399 front and 299 rear (for Brembos), they would be a little chaeper for non Brembo. They are a high quality Japanese rotor as well!!!

Acre pads are at a reasonable price also...again a Jap quality pad!!
