Default Time to Mod....advice/help

Well i have finally saved some money to hopefully get some performance increases on my wrx. Have searched and read ten's of threads to gather some sort of idea on what i should be upgrading.

Firstly the budget, I have set aside $3k which im hoping will be enough (*crosses fingers*)

Power wise I would like to reach 270-280hp, which after reading many threads i think could be possible

Mods

VF34-P20 (1 bar avo actuator, ceramic coated)
AVO Silicone Turbo Intake
De-Cap Injectors
Verso Re-Tune

Any help would be appreciated. All work getting installed/tuned on the 12th Oct at ASG

Id say for 3k you'd get it, and most likley get the 260-270hp mark. Depending on what you can pickup those turbos for. Check over on rexnet for some bargins....seems to be a fair bit of gear that flows through there.

Ahh haha nah im not digging myself a grave with that debate. I have a 34 and it punches well till about 6000-6200 with a p18 housing. Good turbo. id go brand new, i got my second hand, had done 500kms the seller said, had it inspected and told the seller id be back if she was rooted and done 1,000,000kms. Inspector said it was good and i picked it up for about $900.

Yeah mate, i will be upgrading to a p20. You have 2 choices.

You can buy that one, or;
You can buy another 34 for cheaper and find someone with a p20 housing off a vf22 and swap it with them with a cash difference.

well trying to find a second hand vf34 is pretty hard, looked on rexnet, ebaybay, and couldnt find much. dont really trust ebay. Having a new vf34 with P18 housing will still get me 260-270hp? always a good feeling knowing you have something new.
