winding it IN increases the boost!

less restriction = lower boost

Suggest winding it all the way out and see if it holds stock boost first.

If memory serves correctly 1/2 turn = 1psi on my my98.

I have a spare boost gauge if you need to borrow one for setting up your boost again.

Fkn oath I'm a cheap skate...

What would happen if I just pulled the boost tee out? I think Ross was right, but I hadn't wound it down enough to stop the boost cut.

wound it up enough?
if you pull it up and put it together as per factory, it will run per factory.
worst comes to worse just plug the inlet straight into the wastegate and run ~7-8 psi and know that its safe and worry about it after mv?
