When was your fuel filter (in the engine bay) last done?

I can get another GD pressure reg for you to try <-- personally I reckon the reg is your issue.

Fuel filter was done about 12 months ago mate.

I am going to check that the braided rubber hose that goes from the outlet of my pump to the hard metal line on the cradle hasn't partly collapsed.. thus creating that funny "water hammer" noise.

I'll also check the outlet of the pump for that valve you were talking about.

If thats not it, i'll try the reg.. thanks mate

LOL Dave, there is only one now.. I deleted the other!

I have the entire engine bay fuel system, (minus injectors) and OEM reg if you need to part swap/steal Joe.

Brent.

I've got a Bosch 910 as a paper weight Joe. Just let me knw if you want to borrow/try/buy it or whatever... Although, as you're trying to make it quiet, i doubt this is an option.

Thanks for the offer mate, but unfortunately due to the strainer setup (threaded and screwed into a speedflow fitting), I won't be able to fit it to the 910.

What I need is a spare 044 to give it a shot. Anyone?

Ross, feel like doing a swapsey one weekend in Feb, for an hour or so??

Is it a used one mate?? I wouldn't want to use someones brand new one.

How long you in Tassie for? I'm probably not going to be doing this for a couple more weeks anyway (don't have time this week).

Thanks for the offer
