Iv had a varex muffler on my 08 wrx for a couple of years now. Very handy

I've got one and it doesn't work, not to sure why....I have two buttons installed in my centre console (one for open, one for close) but nope, hasn't worked for months....

Check the connection on the tip and at the receiver. They may have come a lose

also check that the butterfly valve has not jammed, this was a common problem on the earlier varex mufflers.

Have not been on for a while so will check both those possibilities this avo.....spraying inox to loosen the butterfly valve...would that be okay? wouldn't surprise me if it jammed up however.
