Na mate not varex, was a system i as looking at. But Norm Butler was the way to go.

Hey mate, I have the exact same system on my WRX (MY01) but it doesnt have the valve. i was just curious...is it better to get a cannon, or get the butterfly valve installed? and where can u get the valve installed?

Hmm... A Varex muffler without the butterfly valve.. is not a varex muffler then ? =/ unless the previous owner removed the valve system from the muffler... But then again I don't see why on earth you would want to do that.

I can imagine it being alot cheaper just to buy a whole new varex muffler.. rather then paying for someone to install one in your muffler.. =/ anyways I have a Varex Cannon, and I highly recommend it. Go all Ninja when I see Five O drive by

nah, my bad, its not a Varex muffler, i have a full 3inch X-Force TBE system with an X-Force muffler that looks the exact same, and i don't think it had one to begin with. But you would recommend a cannon? like what size and where from? Cheers and hahaha, cop bait green p's in a WRX

He might but alot of people who don't want cops giving it a second look opt for a twin tipped oval muffler. OEM looks, still sounds good (better I think actually) and doesn't give people a chance to fist your tailpipe while you're not looking
