No spikes...with a boost tee....BULLSHIT!

They don't react to changes in air density = they ALL spike to some extent.

Gated or not deosn't make any difference.

They are ok in low boost (~5psi) applications though.

They are a sure way to fuck up your shit with a wrx.

Plenty of people have used them in the past with no problems and plenty have failed.
I used them on two cars, GT4 celica and a GTTi charade, no problems at all but the GT4 was waiting for a reason to be rebuilt and the charade was worth less than $2000k.
Why risk your motor on a $100 item for another couple of PSI.
Correct me if im wrong but a Power FC can control boost levels and can be tuned to avoid disaster.
They are cheap enough as well.
Your car can be CHEAP/ FAST/ RELIABLE, you can only have 2, choose wisely.

Guy's

As previously said.

I have a Power FC, TeeBoost, Pod Filter and FMIC..
On me GF8 Wagon the rest is Stocko,

The previous owner didnt have any idea!
And the few dollars you save on cheap boost tee's/contoller's
can cost ya a lot in the short/long term.

Prime example when i got my rex thought it was going pretty good,
then noticed it puffing a fair bit!

Wacked a boostguage on it boosting at 19 plus PSI..

Now has dropped LH front bank with only 65PSI Compression..

Note to self Dont skimp go all out to start..
A 8k Mistake.

DONT you guys do the same learn from this Please.

Andrew

My GC8 runs around 14-15 psi stock, no obvious controller.
What do you have standard? 12ish??
