It's a misconception that if you change your oil and your 'rooted' synchro starts working again that you have 'masked' the problem. Not always the case. Cheers guys have ordered the redline oil, hopefully it gets here soon. Let you know how well it feels after i have changed it.

Totally agree mate, but what I refered to was a very popular masking activity used in the XE - XD - XF Falcon (and older days), as well as the Commodores around the same era

'Especially for diffs'
