You are mis-interpreting the plug breakdown. G & gv are fine wire nickel or gold paladium in the old style part numbering system (7 digit).

The new 5 digit numbering system uses a-f to signify design variations. The first letter (P) of the number is the electrode material...Platinum.

Look at the chart I posted and only follow the grey flow chart boxes.

Revival time!

So it's time to change out my plugs and I'm planning on going NGK PFR7B (Thanks for all the info on here Ross), but this thread is a few years old, so just seeing if they're still the plug of preference.

I'm running PFR7b's in my motor, no issues and good for 1.6 bar + in my application

I have parts turning up from all corners of the globe in the next week or two, so trying to get a lot of little bits and pieces done before then. Will pick up some PFR7b's tomorrow.
