Default What is this on EJ207 (not on 205)???

I've just opened up my new 207 block and found an outlet pipe and i'm not sure what it connects to? Think its a coolant pipe but not 100%
I'm thinking one of you tech heads will know?????

Cheers
Scooter

You take the tube out and block it up with a core plug of the correct size.
I also put some threebond sealant on the outside just to ensure it wont leak.
unsure what size it is, i can double check for you tommorow if you like?

Is it water or oil breather? Would it be easier to get a rubber blanking stopper?

It's a crank case breather. It's used to equalize the pressure in the head & crankcase on AVCS headed 207's.

The rear one is the one you use for the PCV system as it's has an oil/air seperator under the outlet (inside the rear of the block).

Alternately you can 'T' the rocker cover vents to this & run a single PCV source from the rear outlet.

That sounds like a good idea as I'm doing away with the pcv system and running an oil catch can

Cheers for the advice mate. :-)
