Default Good exhaust garage

Hey, im looking to get a good catback system for my N/A Impreza 2010 sedan. i want to keep the dual tip setup that it has stock. ive tried x-force but when i emailed to see if the wrx system would fit it, they said that it wouldn't : \
or does anyone know of a good catback exhaust that will fit my car, how much it will cost and where i can get it fitted? also i would like to look into uneven headers too. does anyone have any good advice on these. do they decrease power and is this boxer rumble significantly increased?

Thanks guys!

Your car already comes with unequal length headers and I don't think there will be much if any benefit of putting aftermarket ones on or even equal length ones on an N/A.

If you just want some more rumble with your exhaust then just get diff backs, probably easier to find and will be a lot cheaper.

If you want more power then I wouldn't be wasting money on trying to get a couple of kw and instead save your money and trade your N/A in for a wrx!

Take a chill pill Jordie, no need to get all "as if" about it haha

I'm pretty sure the older ones were UEL not not sure about the new ones though.

To the OP why don't you pm Stace aka Tuna, I'm fairly sure he knows quite a bit about getting more power out of N/A's.

All good just pulling your chain cuz.

They are kinda EL but not exactly a true EL well so I've read (waiting for the attack from randoms for that comment) , I remember reading on RS25 a while back that the yanks were whining about their stock UEL headers being so restrictive, so maybe the yanks got different set ups to ours???

To the OP.
I think that nobody will know much about cat back exhausts for non aspirated imprezas, to be honest. Not really the right demographic.
I guess that Norm Butler would fabricate something for you, but you might not like the price.
Just about any exhaust shop can sell you a Milo tin that will amplify your exhaust note.

Genie, Carline, Lukey and places like that will have something to suit.

do a search for exhausts and see what other people have done. alternatively just check out the sticky thread about places to get work done in perth, there are a few exhaust places on there, call them up they will go through your options and explain what best.

Like the others said just get a reasonable diff back...there is absolutely no benefit in performance getting anything else. You will not get a boxer rumble as the N/A's have essentially equal length headers. I doubt if you could get aftermarket unequals anyway.
A guy in my street has an N/A MY06 with a different muffler and it actually sounds quite good....some say the boxer rumble is over-rated....
You don't need to spend a shitload...just get a quality muffler...places like Genie in Myaree could do something for you...
