With the turbo you plan to run I would stay with the FMIC, but....

1. Thinking of getting new injectors rather than just decapping? if so what size are recommended for this setup?
Decap them they will flow at 816cc after it has been test and clean ($400? for asg to don(~4years ago))

2. Whats the feedback in regards to Vipec? Ive only heard good things about it so far. anyone else's comments would be muchly appreciated.
My mates in other JDM car(silvia/skyline) uses them haven't read much on subies.

3. Will i need a catch can? Ive been told it wont be needed?
It will help with blow by, you may also get a AOS kit like grimspeed or sg motorsport

I reckon you would get 300 to 330hp MAX with 400+Nm

Wrong. Lag is introduced by having a bigger exhaust housing. You will lose Throttle Response though.

Throttle response and Lag are very different things.
