Default 2005 Sti, Opinions, Suggestions

Hey Guys,

The car is going in to get some goodies fitted in about 3 weeks, just wanted to get some opinions before the work gets done.

Car is a 2005 Sti
Stock EJ207 with 100 xxxkms

Current mods-

Tbe exhaust
Apexi pod filter
Verso tune- car made 259hp on ASG dyno

Parts to fit-

Greddy TD06 20g kit (ext waste gate)
Greddy FMIC kit
Vipec Ecu- Launch control and Antilag enabled
In tank fuel pump (to be supplied by ASG)
Tomei unequal length headers
De cap injectors.

My questions are-

1. Thinking of getting new injectors rather than just decapping? if so what size are recommended for this setup?

2. Whats the feedback in regards to Vipec? Ive only heard good things about it so far. anyone else's comments would be muchly appreciated.

3. Will i need a catch can? Ive been told it wont be needed?

thought i'de put this up to get some educated feedback.
Thanks guys.

As long as they flow within a couple % of each other and the spray pattern is clean and nicely atomised. Decaps are just fine.

You are correct sir.

The setup you have will be joy to drive when you're at the top end of the 3k rpm range though.

Shoot for 300hp +/- say a conservative 10hp either way.

Its all going to depend on the tune.

I'm running flashed ECU so those with vipec experience would be able to give you a better rundown.

In regards to your injectors, speak with Saun(?), ask if there's any real benefit.

I was recommended 725's, ended up with 1,000's but it doesn't really matter as your tuner of choice is more than competent to tune with either.

Try searching 'vipec' instead of vypec?
