I am not interested in dyno numbers, I just want the car to go around the track faster & will have big fat rubber wheels on to help me.

I'm not interested in the IHI turbos - these will not give me a big enough difference. I spoke with another guy who went vf28 to vf30/34 and p20 and went back again due to lag and minimal gains.

maybe the 20G, Twin scroll in my case is a waste of money - it will just add lag and cost me $$$$$ more to get setup. What's the limit of the TD05 20? and how does it compare to GTX 3076?

Twin scroll ADD lag? um...........no, it was designed to reduce it.

Td05-20g is good for around 300-340 hp ath depending on how good your heads flow.

A GTX3076 will flow around the same as an "old" GT35R (non billet wheel) so it will be extremely laggy for a 2.0L and much bigger than a TD05-20g. A GTX3071 would be better suited to the 2.0L but you should really go rotated to realise the full potential of the turbo.

What 'track' work are you looking at? Do you need response or high end power?

TD06, GTX3076 etc are decent sized turbos. They will be 'laggy' and take quite a few rpm to get on song.

IHI VF series are smaller so they get on the power quicker. Twin scroll will get you on quicker again. But the VF's will not make big high end power.

You seem to not want lag but have big top end power. It is one or the other unfortunately.

you have a built motor but only want 250kw?
TD06-20g will do it or a GT2871R both can be a tad laggy tho
popular choice on all silvias which are 2L engines and will make 300-330ish on stock sr20 motors

other choices are the BBK turbos TD05-20g which has seen very good result over eastern states

or INI VF series probably be a very responsive 300hp but cant see them making any higher

twin scroll is a life changing experience after driving a 'plain' STi - with a good tune you can have power 'everywhere' with a vf 36 et.al.
TD05 twin scroll is an option - there are a couple around like GT pumps who do versions of these
