TD06-20G is not bad on a 2.5. Full boost hits around 3750 - 4000. Would imagine it being a dog on a 2L. It does the job well running Barbs, etc, but would think twice if you're leaning toward skidpan or similar.
If I had my time again, it would be the TD05. But at the end of the day, it's your car and goals, so your choice. Good luck.
