Default ej20 Rebuild

Hi All
The title says it all .
i am attempting my first rebuilt attempt of a ej20...
in the past i have done smaller rebuilds on smaller engine
Mostly motor bikes .but nothing this big as this .
Recently i bought a wrx gc8,00, “cheep” the original ej205 has bottom end damage spun a bearing , but on the plus side the car came with a bonus sti ej20 , what version i dont know. The deification sticker on the engine cover was unreadable .
Did a compersion test to be on the safe side ,results follow
piston 1 , 80psi
piston 2 , 50 psi
piston 3 , 120 psi
piston 4 , 100 psi

So with the results I figure its more worth my time rebuilding and bombing the STI engine rather than the ej205 ..... Thoughts ?
So far i am up to removing the heads from the block .No problems so far
Even thought the cam gear bolts where a challenge to say the least .
But before i go any further stabbing in the dark

i have a couple of questions i hope you guys could help me out with

What engine do i have version wise ?
The two stamped numbers on the block are as follow
627202629187
569568
W
here can i find the re bolting torque specs for all bolts involved in the rebuilding process ?
thank you ,

Search for workshop manuals on this site, there's plenty of links.

The best way to tell which 'Sti' motor you have is to slip a piston out & post some images of said piston for us to I.D what 'flavour' it is.

Also tell us if the cam buckets had the shim on top or underneath or no shim at all.

We need to see the underside of a piston to see if it's forged or cast, also removed the head gasket from the block so we can see if it's open deck, semi-open or closed deck.

Just a pair of circlip pliers?
Should be able to get them from most hardware and automotive stores.
