If you want induction noise, remove the silencer and plug the hole. If you want cold air intake aswell as induction noise. Remove the whole silencer unit. It will suck air from in your guard but will look stock under the hood.

Hi, Thanks guys for your replies..

Besides i found that the Ultrex TBE comes with a 400CPSI Cat converter. I was thinking abt getting an aftermarket cat converter with 100CPSI which will give more air flow through the exhaust. Has anyone tried this and found much difference as 400CPSI sounds too restricitive air flow.

Cheers

Just take the cat out... or gut it.

Well, with regards to CAI, very simple. Put the vehicle on the dyno do a run and do a run with an intake and see if there is a difference. If it doesnt make a diff, no point changing it.

We have done this so many times and I can show you on the dyno that the CAI does matter for most Subarus except for most of the MY08-10 models.

High flow panel filter in the stock airbox IMO. Just not K&N.

What is the issue with K&N? Dry VS Oil Filter...
