HAHAHA...
I went with excide for my new battery, they even deliverd it out
to me.. thought i was having a win..
Yeah right.... They gave me the wrong one..
They are getting the right one back out to me asap..

Try Auto One, Cannington etc.
they had a good special on, if it has finished ask them for last week's price,
about $94 for a Supercharge Gold 3-year warranty but fit it yourself.

They got this other one out to me.. and it looks to be pretty good..
Just gotta remove the old one and put the new one in... once I finish work
@ 430pm..

Battery's in and it starts with plenty of GRUNT.........
The battery i used was a Excide X60DP
So if you have a 1994-1997 WRX, thats the one.

So...

Predictably the battery died. New one kicks it to life quite well and we are still running on 95 RON. Still to cross off the placebo fuel theory.
