yes std foz

just to clear the air and confusion in me not explaining properly what i have done

replaced the 98 ej205 forester gt with 2001 ej205 wrx engine

left the turbo and exhaust of wrx on and replaced the inlet manifold/injectors and cooler and coil pack

also just replaced the crank pole wheel as the wrx had like 20 something poles as the gt only had 6

i havent yet changed the cam gear as yet but looks like that may be different and throwing the timing out

and thanks again for those who have input to the thead

cheers

unless its a jdm forestrer motor going into a wrx as jdm foz got the wrx engine

But he has also changed the cams/ heads etc. The cams in a foz are way different.

thanks for your concern russgt

i would imagine they are as the foz would be very tamed

anyone know where i could find the cam duration specs so as i can compare

my research now points to the cam gear pole wheel to be different as well so i will change that over shortly to see if it rectifies it
