My old Invidia Q300 sounded awesome on my hatch with Invidia Catless DP but once I installed the 1.5 scroll elh it lost all the charm.

Hey guys.
So I went with the Q300 and installed it on Thursday. It sounds really good but I'm having trouble with cabin drone. Between 2000-3000 RPM cruising and stop-start traffic it just gives me a headache. I found out this is really on specific to the hatch models which I have. Is there any way to combat this?

Do you have el headers?

I have the q300 on my 08 hatch and loved the sound stock. I also had the invidia catless dump. The sound of this setup was near perfect in my opinion.

I then put the invidia race 1.5 scroll equal length headers on and it became obnoxiously loud.

To fix this I had the rear resonator moved to the end of the dump and then had an offset muffler installed in front of the diff. It quietened it down considerably but I think it will get louder as it breaks in.

Install decent stereo system + turn it up.
