Handbrake lights not working...
Sat here scratching my head.......!!!!
GC8 handbrake lights not working guys....any electrical guys could please help out.. This is the deal..... Brake pedal lights working... Parking lights on top of steering column working... Continuity of handbrake switch...the little spring loaded one with a pink wire attached that goes to ground...there's 12v there...working.. Is there some type of relay that is activated by this switch...???..if so before a strip the dash down to find it any ideas what could be the problem...cheers lads... Take care Paul |

The handbrake switch switchs to earth. So the wire at the switch needs to be connected to negative in order to bring the light on.
Try just touching that wire to a good bit of body metal in the area and see if the light iluminates. This will indicate the circuit is working and points at the switch being faulty or out of adjustment/alignment.
