In that case, you should get some EL headers with your new engine.
Nah, apparently it needs a new radiator though.

In a couple of days time we will see what a 8cm dom1.5 can do on my new engine. I am expecting to be disappointed, like with everything else.

Well ive decided to go for the blouch 1.5 xtr 7cm.

Not chasing huge numbers do may as well try and get some quicker spool.

Im getting the blouch 20g xtr on my 2.1L.

Im novice and only going on what many other people from many different forums or workshops are saying. But apparently the 20g hits harder that that 1.5... but doesbt quiet have the same top end.

All have said the seat of the pants feel of the 20g will be better

Awesome! I'm very interested to see what you guys think of your respective turbos. When are they planned for fitting and tuning?

I spoke to my tuner today and got a bit of a laugh at these claims that a Dom 1.5 will hit full boost by 4000rpm on a 2L, so I'm going down next week to have the car on the dyno and the tune checked, discuss turbos, Carberry and flex fuel, and get some opinions on what to do in the future.

It's going to the mechanic tomorrow to have an oil leak and potential petrol leak checked too, so hopefully I can squeeze in to do my first track day at Sandown this saturday.

Ive heard the same thing re: td05 20g xtr but not sure it justifies having a turbo that flows less with similar spool.

Though ive ridden in a 2ltr sti with a dom 1.5 and it felt faster than my evo with a nice push in the back so cant complain.

Car is booked in mid novemeber hope all goes smoothly!

I'm on full noise at 4.3k with a 1.5xtr 8cm on e85.

The 7cm should be less, even with 98 juice.

Look forward to the results

To update everyone, took longer than expected due to some other issues, but decided to stick with the vf22 and had an invidia down pipe, cai, fuel pump and silicon intake installed.

Made a big difference and Ended up with 208kw atw on 19psi with full boost touch under 4k rpm. Was 34 degrees and was told i would of got closer to 215kw atw on a colder day.

In line with my goals so very happy in the end.

About to have a dom 1.5 xtr connected to a 2.1L stroker with 272 cams. Hoping for 250kw at wheels on 98.

Hope them figures are not unrealistic
